Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refund
You may request a refund within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase if:
- The Software fails to install or run on your compatible Windows system
- A critical feature advertised is non-functional and cannot be resolved by support
- You accidentally purchased a duplicate license
- You are dissatisfied with the Software's performance (no-questions-asked within 7 days)
2. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- More than 7 days have passed since purchase
- The license key has been activated on your device and the 7-day period has expired
- You violated the Terms of Use (e.g., using the Software for illegal purposes)
- Refund abuse — multiple refund requests from the same user or payment method
- Change of mind after the 7-day window
- Failure to meet minimum system requirements (listed on our website)
3. Refund Process
- Request: Email info@ecoms.co.za with your order number, license key, and reason for refund.
- Review: Our team will review your request within 2 business days.
- Verification: We may verify that your license key has not been misused or shared.
- Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days.
- Deactivation: Your license key will be permanently deactivated upon refund.
4. Refund Methods
Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card used for purchase (5-10 business days)
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account (3-5 business days)
- Bank Transfer: Refunded to the originating bank account (7-14 business days)
Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider. MyMovieToolkit is not responsible for delays caused by third-party processors.
5. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical issues affecting only specific features (pro-rated based on functionality)
- Promotional or bundled purchases where only part of the bundle is returned
Partial refund decisions are at the sole discretion of MyMovieToolkit management.
6. Subscription Cancellations
For monthly or annual subscriptions:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Cancellation stops future billing — you retain access until the current period ends
- No prorated refunds for partial months unless within the 7-day money-back period
- Annual subscriptions cancelled within 7 days qualify for a full refund
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us first before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
- Permanent account suspension
- License key blacklisting
- Reporting to fraud prevention databases
If you have a legitimate concern, we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
